Nintendo unveil The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword 'Look Back' commercial

I'm not quite sure of the direction on this one, but Nintendo of America have today released a 'Look Back' commercial that is to be used to promote The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

It feels like they're trying to sell this game to people who played the original title, and now have kids of their own.

100 percent agreed, I don't see this advert working very well at all, it barely shows any gameplay to make up for it either.

I don't think I did either. I am going to be 30 in a couple months though. I also have an 8 year old son who is going to be watching me play Skyward Sword just like in the commercial. LOL

I hope that this does not end up being the main commercial for Skyward Sword. I know that this is the 25th anniversary, but that commercial looks like it belongs in a 1980's sitcom. I prefer my nostalgia in the actual game, and not in the commercial. It just screams "out of touch".

Not the best commercial, but at least it shows that you can play it sitting down.

Strange choice to target the audience that will already be buying this game- those who grew up playing Zelda. They need to be targeting mothers looking for Christmas presents. Any gamer over 20 should be buying this without the need for advertisements as far as I'm concerned.
