MediaKick Review: Stronghold 3

MediaKick writes: It’s always unfortunate to see a beloved series go down the pan in mediocrity; something that fans of the original Stronghold saw with the game’s sequel. The beloved castle-building medieval RTS was succeeded by a much disliked sequel in Stronghold 2, much to fans’ disappointment. It’s long been hoped, then, that Firefly Studios’ Stronghold 3 would coax the series’ revival from the realm of despair. It’s with regret then that I have to disappoint any fan who is reading this. Stronghold 3 is the game that it seems will finally nail the coffin in the Stronghold series. Allow me to elaborate.

Great article. The worst game purchase I ever made was that horrible Street Fighter: The Movie game when the PlayStation first launched. It was my first ever console - a leap forward in possibility - and I could have had WipEout, or Tekken. Nope. Shitty, awful Street Fighter: The Movie it was. Uggh.

Firefly Studios and 7Sixty have confirmed that the Mac version of Stronghold 3: Gold Edition is now available. The Mac version of Stronghold 3: Gold Edition has been developed by Mac specialists Virtual Programming, it will feature all the content contained in its PC counterpart alongside cross-platform multiplayer with PC users.
