The Shalebridge Cradle is the scariest thing in a video game I have ever played
although Call of Cthulu and Eternal Darkness should have been mentioned
I usually make a point to play a scary game around Halloween, but nothing seemed worthy. I don't know how many people would put Demon's/Dark Souls in the scary game category, but they can be very tense. There are ghosts, demons, skeletons, evil wizards, and shadow dwelling carnivorous slime creatures, among many other crazy looking enemies and bosses. Some creepy environments too. Great sound. Damn I love these games.
