Velocity Gamer: Now before you all decide to get into a huge comment war with me over whether of not you agree about the games on this list, let me simply say this: These games were not picked using some mathematical algorithm to tell me which ones were the most popular. They were picked by me, based off of the various amount of hype and news I've heard about them. Yes, this is a bit opinionated, but I'm willing to bet that at least one of these games is on your radar.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
There have been plenty of great villains in video games over the years. Now it's time for the VGU crew to name a few of their favorites.
Diablo III
Ni no Kuni
Tales of Graces F
I must admit that I'm most excited for Tomb Raider out of that list.
Mass Effect started out this generation as my favorite new IP hands down and part two quickly took care of that.
*Sigh*.. Will we ever get any inspiring list? lol This is the last "Top 5" or "Top 10" list im ever looking at
The one i'm looking forward to most isn't on the list. Kingdoms of Amalur.
Tomb Raider is listed a Q3 2012 release by SE. same with Bioshock Infinite.
looking forward to SSX, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Street Fighter x Tekken for Q1 2012.
