Five Games You Can't Miss In Early 2012

Velocity Gamer: Now before you all decide to get into a huge comment war with me over whether of not you agree about the games on this list, let me simply say this: These games were not picked using some mathematical algorithm to tell me which ones were the most popular. They were picked by me, based off of the various amount of hype and news I've heard about them. Yes, this is a bit opinionated, but I'm willing to bet that at least one of these games is on your radar.

I must admit that I'm most excited for Tomb Raider out of that list.

Mass Effect started out this generation as my favorite new IP hands down and part two quickly took care of that.

I'm just wondering how Tomb Raider will feel compared to Uncharted. Both take cues from eatchother so it'll be great to see how Tomb Raider turns out.

*Sigh*.. Will we ever get any inspiring list? lol This is the last "Top 5" or "Top 10" list im ever looking at

5. some editor will cleverly disguise his top 5 list and draw you in with a misleading title.

4. almost every N4G article is a top 5 or 10 list and you can't escape them.

3. you love to complain about the list so you read them.

2. you will read a list to see if your favorite games are on it.

1. some clever poster will make a top 5 list as a reply and you will read it.

Guaranteed!!

5) I dont fall for misleading titles

4) I can escape them.. By not going to the website altogether.. I already dont go here as much as i used to

3) Nobody is complaining

2)This is why most people look at top list. I was hoping to see something new actually

1) Nope

Stop kidding yourself, SageHonor. ATi_Elite pwned you in the most masterful way I've seen in a while, and I give him bubbles for that. As for his number one, it must be true seeing as you replied.

The one i'm looking forward to most isn't on the list. Kingdoms of Amalur.

Tomb Raider is listed a Q3 2012 release by SE. same with Bioshock Infinite.

looking forward to SSX, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Street Fighter x Tekken for Q1 2012.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.

He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.
