My week in gaming 24th – 30th October

Liam Pritchard of Brash Games writes "I’m lucky in that my girlfriend actually enjoys videogames. Brilliant aye. Problem is, she only enjoys a certain type of videogame. As much as I would love to get some co-op Halo on the go or fire up a quick game of Pro Evo, that’s simply never going to happen……ever".

Not only would it have been great if Max Payne, Freedom Fighters, Nier, Blur and Lollipop Chainsaw got to become backwards compatible, it also would be great if those games got to have more games come out in their franchises.

I want Toby Gard’s Galleon. I have the game but no way to play it and I’m not going to buy an original Xbox again.

SuperPhillip Central's Favorite VGMs - "SuperPhillip's Birthday Bash" Edition

Phil writes, "I don't like to toot my own horn (aw, hell-- TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!), but today I celebrate my 31st birthday, and with that, SuperPhillip Central arrives with five special themes to commemorate the occasion. Sure, I was going to use these five VGMs regardless, but why ruin the spectacle of the moment?

The recently released Gravity Rush 2 leads us off with a jazzy battle theme before handing it off to Final Fantasy XI. Then, we turn our attention to Okamiden. Following that is some funk (the good kind) from Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio. Lastly, we roll on through with a catchy song from Katamari Forever.

Hey, you! Yeah, you! Click on the VGM volume name to hear the song on YouTube! Finally, check out the VGM Database for all past VGMs featured on this weekly recurring segment. Now, let's get on to the music!"

When You Really Think About it, Katamari is Probably the Most Disturbing Game You'll Ever Play

It may look all happy and cutesy at a glance, but when you actually consider Katamari's gameplay, it's actually rather dark. Very dark, in fact.

It maybe disturbing but it's fun as hell and why the Ps4 doesn't have one yet or a Noby Noby Boy 2 is beyond me.

eddieistheillest2753d ago

Creator went to make a different game but I want one sooo bad.

Venoxn4g2753d ago

I want a proper katamari game for ps4 please

kimblejay2749d ago

Me too! Since writing this article I've had Katamari cravings so bad. Looks like I'll have to settle with Touch My Katamari on Vita for now. I'd even be happy with Backwards Compatibility for Beautiful Katamari on Xbox!
