Looks fantastic and I can't wait to play but to be honest all of this makes me look that much more forward to a new proper Fallout sequel next generation.

OK so it's kinda beginning to piss me off that I paid $150 for the collector's edition and they're just releasing all this stuff to the public for free. I mean that's awesome that more people get to experience it but I wish they would include some sort of incentive like free dlc in the CE.

Bereaver4584d ago

Well, at least you get a real in your hand authentic hard copy right?

But yeah, I still get what your saying.

Dovahkiin4584d ago

This was bound to happen anyway... I for one didn't buy it but know I won't miss out on much of the art.

NCAzrael4584d ago

But you get a goddamn dragon statue with your CE. Yeah, the art book is cool and all, but the whole reason I shelled out the extra $100 is because that statue will look awesome on the shelf in my computer room.

persistentlobster4583d ago

Very true. Plus it's incredibly hard finding quality action figures these days that aren't halo or star wars. It shall be my Thanksgiving centerpiece! muahaha... Still it would be awesome if they decided to include some free dlc. A man can dream.

FanboyPunisher4584d ago

i guess that makes you a sucker for marketing.

Shouldnt of let the fanboy inside you buy the CE, always get regular. CE is just an additional profit margin cash grab, little to no value.

Can anyone tell me why it is that whenever new screenshots are found it is always on this german website? I mean I am not complaining about it being in german (I speak a little) I am complaining about the website itself. It never lets me click through all the pictures.

NCAzrael4584d ago

I found it is easiest to just copy and paste the actual URL for the site (not going through the translation page) and just scroll through the pics that way. You can't read the descriptions if you don't speak German, but at least you can scroll through them that way.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast42d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22942d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko42d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

SimpleSlave42d ago

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave42d ago (Edited 42d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
