Undoubtedly, the sheer number of new game releases this week’s is daunting. Yet remove the imminent clearance-bin filler (surely, the world isn’t ready for three Cabala games in a single week) and the choices are filtered down to a few noteworthy titles: Uncharted 3, Sonic Generations, and Lord of the Rings: War in the North.
Sonic the Hedgehog has a long and turbulent history in videogames, but which are the best games featuring the blue bur?
Generations over Mania? Please… Generations doesnt have any new ideas in the levels/bosses.
Also a top 7 of Sonic games shouldn’t have any 3D crap and contain at least one of the 8-bit titles.
Sonic CD getting snubbed is weird. Number 1 is definitely interchangable between Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
Top 7 for me
7 cd
6 mania
5 Frontiers
4 sonic 3
3 sonic 1
2 sonic and knuckles
1 sonic 2
Sometimes I feel like the Sonic Advanced games just didn’t exist with how much it’s always forgotten 😭
The divide between both iterations of Sonic is now reaching spin-off territory, and the way Sega is handling it is both a blessing and a curse.
BLG writes: "With the success of the films and the promise of Frontiers, it’s possible that we’re ushering in a new golden age of Sonic the Hedgehog. While Sega is looking forward, the company is also looking back. It’s giving us Sonic Origins, a retooled collection of Genesis classics. However, this package fails to provoke a burning question: what’s the best Sonic handheld game?"
Uncharted 3 looks a-maz-ing. Mind blowing graphics.
Yes, Uncharted 3. Can't wait.
Any reviews on Sonic G? Like very Sonic game, I want it to be good.
I want Lord of the Rings: War in the North to be good, but nothing I've seen has really swayed my opinion yet. With lots of places selling this for $50, I'm a bit worried.
Hopefully, it's just that there is so much competition this time of year.
Woot Uncharted 3 next week >:D
cant wait to play both the SP and MP.
