Payday: The Heist launched on the same day as some AAA titles but the developers at Overkill games have created a fast-paced, action/FPS that keeps you returning to get the job done. Though at times it maybe more frustrating than functional.
Free PC games this week include XCOM Enemy Unknown, Payday: The Heist, Aliens vs Predator 2000, Crash Time 2 and more.
In celebration of reaching 1.5 million members on Payday 2's official Steam community group, Overkill is releasing Payday: The Heist completely free for 24 hours starting October 16th, 2 days ahead of the originally planned date - October 18th.
The game will be free to download/keep, and will stay in your Steam library as long as you claim it within the specified 24 hour window.
So last time, the Payday 2 community was just short of 1,000,000 players and we were given 3 months roughly to gain 500,000 more! A rather large and daunting task, one I didn’t believe was possible, I am, however, beginning to change my tune on that.
A PS4 version would of been prime after the Hardline delay, but no one expected that.
I would say this looks like a great $20 game. I haven't played it yet but plan on getting it from steam sometime next week.
obviously the guy who wrote the article didn't play it or something.. because I haven't experienced any major problems with the AI...
he said there is no command button... but I distinctly remember hitting R2 and shouting Dallas or whoever follow me... R2 does it all...
sounds like I was Commanding him.. doesn't it???
bad review... it deserves better than that. especially for it's price it should be a dream for anyone.
