Yesterday, Vivid Gamer reported on the fact that Amazon is no longer accepting pre-orders for the Skyward Sword bundle. Today, after some investigation, it seems as if Nintendo is having supply issues with the latest of Layton's adventures as well.
With the latest Professor Layton game, The Miracle Mask, now available, SuperPhillip Central ranks the Professor Layton games from least greatest to greatest.

I was looking forward to an insightful, or at the very least intelligent discussion of the Professor Layton series. I found neither.
This article is -profoundly- poorly written.
My guess is that it was either written by a high school student suffering under the mistaken delusion that he or she has some talent with writing... or, perhaps more likely, someone for whom English is a second, third or fourth language.

I have never heard of Professor Layton but it seems to be immensely popular. I guess there are things besides shooters out there.
Seems to me that perhaps Nintendo didn't think that the demand for these titles was going to be as great as they are.
I haven't played any of the Professor Layton games but I wouldn't mind it.
