Given what Blackwater is and knowing what they've done in the Middle East and abroad (with allegations of running child pornography rings, assassinating and torturing civilians and effectively running like a criminal operation), I'm surprised that Microsoft would even green light this game.

Why not? They make games about US soldiers in vietnam and we all know how that went down. The problem with giving civilians guns and sending them down range, is expecting them to conduct them self as a proffesional soldier would.

kinect, the heisenberg uncertainty principal of gaming, you can measure movement or position, but not both.

if you want to control your actions you have no control of movement and if you want to control movement you can't control your actions.

you can't even control steering and acceleration at the same time in a racing game for flips sake.

i don't care for motion controls, but if i did i'd choose something like the wii or move any day of the week.

anybody remember when tactile feedback, rumble, was all important and nobody wanted motion controls?

Nobody ever responds when movement comes up. You can't make a shooter unless it's on rails. Kinect has uses but fps aren't it. To those that say use a controller with kinect, it takes two hands to use a controller what is kinect for? The only thing you can do with kinect is party games, rail shooters, and simplified games. If anyone can think of anything else let me know.
