4 Elements HD brings match three puzzling to the PSN with a twist, and Move support as well, but does it bring fun to the table? It’s time for PlayStation LifeStyle to find out.
GameStyle - Can 4 Elements HD breathe new life into the classic 'match three' genre or become yet more matching monotony?
GameStyle - Thanks to Boolot Games, 4 Elements HD is now available on PSN and ensures hours of manic tile matching for PS3 users of all ages. 4 Elements HD is based on the 'match three' genre in which players are tested against the clock to match multiple tiles of the same type to clear the grid and complete the level, as well as rack up as many points possible to earn high scores and bonuses. With such titles as 'Bejeweled' dominating the genre, it is difficult to see how the tried and tested formula could be improved.
The ancient kingdom is in trouble! The magic of the four elements that kept it running for centuries has been corrupted by evil powers and the altars no longer yield the energy of life. It is up to you to unlock the 4 ancient books of magic and collect 16 mysterious cards that will help you restore the kingdom to life...
Six.... feet away from this game at all times.
That's about what I'd give it, since it's a PSN game. Its about the average for PSN originals. If it were like, a $50-60 disc release, then it'd be more like 4/10 territory.
