G4TV: On the surface, Supremacy MMA feels like it could be a solid notch in the win column for fighting games. Instead, after playing for mere seconds, it's clear the game will do nothing but make fans of fighting games doubt the existence of a deity.
GIR writes: I honestly cannot recommend the game to anyone other than a die hard fan of MMA or someone who hates money
I'm a die hard MMA fan and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all, even if you can be Jerome LeBanner.
Supremacy MMA might have to tap out with review like this.
GameCentral: The way it usually works is this: something becomes popular (a movie, sport, toyline, it doesn't matter what) and someone comes along and makes a game out of it. Then regardless of whether the game is any good or not it sells by the bucket load until the next fad comes along and everyone wonders how they got so duped. The odd thing about MMA is that most of the games have been good, and the real thing is still hugely popular, but its moment in gaming seems to have passed already.
