Hmm Costume Quest for free? Nice.

TerminalGamer4590d ago

I'm going to check that one out.

TopDudeMan4590d ago

Sounds good, I'll get that.

People exist who don't already own Costume Quest? Why?

Next you'll be telling me there are people out there who haven't played Flower, either.

I think I'll check out Odin Sphere. Liked Muramasa a whole lot, too... totally under-rated.

Odin Sphere has absolutely beautiful graphics and actually has really good voice acting. Game is kind of hard though, and requires some grinding through the same levels in order to get stronger. I got about halfway before my 60gb PS3 YLOD, so this is also tempting me to jump back in.

I didn't even know they were still supporting RB3.

Hopefully Portal 2 DLC works now? I tried earlier, but it just said no content available, even though Steam says it should be there.

doctorstrange4590d ago

I hope only you are having that prob :P

BigWoopMagazine4590d ago

yup, that totally fixed it. I just assumed that when their blog said it was live, and Gabe Newell said a while back they would be able to update independently of PSN due to Steam, that the update would actually be live before the store update. Wrong, but it's all good now!

Looking Back to 2011 and the Forza Baiting Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed

Paul writes: "So, all in all, Shift 2: Unleashed from way back in 2011 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC was a good game, but not quite as good as the marketing hype may have had you believe. Autolog and racing with friends was fun, the upgrading of the cars and the gradual unlocking of the new series made for an addictive play, and the game looked the part as well. But it failed to reach the heights many predicted."

Looking Back to 2010 and Rock Band 3 - the First Death of Rock Band

Dave writes: "Hopefully time will be kind to Rock Band 3. It’s the equivalent of a Blade Runner or Van Gogh, unappreciated and undersold in its own time, but something that has undeniable quality. We may never see another Rock Band, no encore to this great series, but in Rock Band 3 and Rock Band 4, we got some pretty awesome final tracks."
