ThriftyNerd: Renegade Ops Review - Boom

Overall, Renegade Ops is a fun title that handles really well and provides a great deal of fun for fans of the genre. Though the storyline is indeed forgettable, it does have one amazingly ridiculous plot twist at the end which had me in tears laughing. There are sequences where your jeep is swapped out for a helicopter in order to break up some of the gameplay and provide some pacing. If only there were more helicopter sequences. Renegade Ops is by no means a work of Shakespeare, but much like a summer action blockbuster, they don’t all have to be works of art to be enjoyed.
