Forza Motorsport 4 - Demo gameplay

Eurogamer has release one gameplay video from Forza Motorsport 4 demo.

Looks (and sounds) amazing! And this video doesn't even capture its smooth 60fps.

First thing I'll do when I get the demo is to turn off that annoying music.

It looks very nice and very smooth. It kinda feels a bit slower than i expected ya know? Sense of speed etc. Maybe its just this wide track or that particular camera angle, or just the video here.

Get a taste of it and judge myself better with this demo :D

It looks good, I won't lie, but I want to wait for the retail footage/version to judge or even compare it to gt5 premium. No offense, but MS's xbox 360 reached it's peak years ago, and with the promises of everything turn 10 stated I want to wait and see if these videos/promises are real and not ruses before I give props.

Yes. A small subset of cars in a specific, non-gameplay mode look amazing.

But the jig is up. I've played Gran Turismo 5 with premium cars on a 1080p HDTV and the game has its visual flaws just like any other game, yet it's described as being "breathtaking, stunning, unbelievably photorealistic," etc. These games have fans who spread BS hype.

Forza 4's visuals have improved over Forza 3's. This person I responded to before is one of those people who fall on the low end of the curve.

Actually more like 200+ that look absolutely amazing in HD. You know how I know? I have gt5. Gt5 standard cars can compete with forza's 3 cars. Also I hope you do not use forza's 4 garage or showcase as an argument in the future or else you'll contradict yourself.

I have it, too. And maybe your experience with video games is limited to consoles only, so you probably consider GT5, Killzone 3, and Uncharted 3 to be the pinnacles of visuals, right?

First you were too bloody lazy to find any gameplay footage, and instead went on about how MS was trying to deliberately trick you by releasing per-rendered screenshots, as if no game developer has ever done such a thing before. Pretty much all screenshots prior to GT5's release were all pre-rendered or taken in photo mode.

Now you're questioning gameplay footage taken directly from the soon to be released demo, and lets face it the demo will be exactly the same as the final release. I've no idea how you think MS/Turn 10 could be somehow misleading you with this demo, if anything the actual release will be even more polished, although unlikely it certainly won't be any worse.

I think the video is a bit blurry because it didn't look very crisp. But it should be an amazing game for racing fans.

Body damage and physics looks pretty bad, if that car bumped into the back of a Corvette at that speed (150mph plus) it would have a lot more than a scratch and it wouldn't act like it was rear ended by a bicycle.

Race track looks superb! I strongly believe Turn10 picks and builds the best gritty tracks on any console. They are just absolutely magnificent to look at and extremely enjoyable to play in. Way better than those offered in GranTurismo and I'm a GT fan as well.

I 100% agree with you and have thought that the tracks have always looked better than the gt series
