Er, because I want the game to look like the "multiplatform" screenshots they've been shoving down our throats for the past 12 months? Fair enough, everybody knows PRs use max-spec PCs to generate these images, but the contrast between Battlefield 3 on console and on PC is massive. I'd have preferred them to be a little more upfront about it.

They use bullshots for ALL platforms, and ALL publishers do it.

most of the footage of multi platform was from singleplayer though, the graphics should be better in that.

MW3 is made for Xbox 360

That is the way it is, and that is how I will be playing them.

If your PC can handle BF3 why on earth wouldn't you also get MW3 on it? It maybe 360 lead platform but it'll still look and run better on PC.

I'm new to PC gaming so not sure how MW2/3 plays on PC, but it played fantastic on Xbox. Great frame rate, controls, and matchmaking.

I'm just saying, MW3 is optimised for consoles far better than any Battlefield or Crysis game, in scale, visuals, frame rate and gameplay.

If you only have a console. You will have much more fun on MW3 than a badly ported BF3.

dirigiblebill right all those trailers shown on a top spec pc the game looks amazing but now when we see it on consols its looks terrible not much better than BC2. I wish i never saw the pc version first.

I'm sorry but what DICE have put on show for the consoles is just a slap in the face. They claim to have games that outstrip anything else on the consoles, but look at Rage, Gears 3, Uncharted 3, those are pushing the xbox 360 and ps3. I said it when I first heard and I'll say it again, "Why did they even bother to bring it to console?" I will eat my words if it comes to that, but so far I am thoroughly unimpressed with what they've done on console. PC version is looking good though.

I will say this. Its like pepsi vs. Coke debate. One will always win in taste n quality. One will outsell he other. Its really about the individual. Personally I want something different. So bf3 is my pre order and mw3 (spec ops looks s4c) is s redbox rental...
