The thing is ... PS3 is givin awesome quality ... sure its not 1080p+ or whatnot additional effects, this and that ... but My God this looks amazingly beautiful and 100x optimized and improved compared to BFBC2.

If u are a graphic whore then yeaaa ... go for a PC ... if not PS3 is givin all the same experience at resolution of 720p.

Which to be honest suffice for me ... Im happy for how PS3 version has turned out ... Ill be buyin PS3 version :)))

The consoles are getting the gimped version. Graphics will be Less quality and the Maps on multiplayer are Smaller to fit the 24 player Cap.

Pc gets 64 players and Huge maps to accomodate those 64 players. I don't even have to go on about Graphics tbh. I'm not a graphics whore so i dont care much about that. But 64 palyers compared to 24 is a big deal to me. Losing 40 additional players just to play this game on my ps3/360.. is not worth it. I choose my Gaming rig PC.

I'm a PC gamer and I will not go back to a console because the PC players a generaly older, not always mature...lol. My son has a 360 and the first one turned into a brick, the replacement has some error code thing. So he has not missed it, plays Conan MMO on his PC and waiting for Starwars MMO.

Now do the consoles have servers to play Mutliplayer?? If not then one console is the server and that player has no lag and will dominate all the other players... that sucks in my opinion. Just a few more weeks and we will all have some fun with toys that go boom... :-) CC

yeah it looks amazing on consoles but are you REALLY comparing crysis 2 maxed out to a ps3 game ? LOl crysis 2 running on gamer(lowest pc settings) at 1080p looks better than anything on consoles.

the ps3 and 360 aren't even as powerful as the most powerful pc you could build in 2005 by the way consoles run battlefield 3 at the LOWEST pc settings with no texture filtering @ 1280x704 30fps they are NOTHING special even the pc minimum required specs which is 5x more powerful than consoles would run BF3 MUCH better than consoles.

the only reason consoles can produce visuals that good at such low specs is because they're easy to optimize for and thats because developers know EXACTLY what they are working with

by the way do yo really expect to see the HUGE difference between console version and crysis 2 maxed out using a compressed video ? REALLY ? you don't seem like a ps3 fanboy just someone that believes consoles aren't so ancient when in actual fact they have been ancient since 2006

Consoles also don't have bloated OS's and hardware slowing viruses, trojans and background programs! A PC with the same ram and comparable hardware running Windows Vista is nowhere near as powerful as a console at running games! You might have a hard time just running Vista!

Ya, played this at Eurogamer Expo, the recoil is INSANE. It takes ALOT more skill to go for kills. I felt I had to make a decision whether to, or not to go for the kill to risk being spotted and not being able to take others out fast enough or that half my bullets would miss.

What the Hell's UP with EA Digital Illusion CE, The weapons in this great shooter sound SO CRAPPY when compared to latest MOH. Even COD: MW1/2 & 3 don't sound all too accurate to real world weapons. I mean hell, The weapons in the socom series for the ps2 seem a little better than what I'm hear on these videos. I mean' what gives?

you can't get any idea of the game's sound from these videos...load up any of the real trailers, or direct feed gameplay footage, on your home theatre...few games come any where near this in sound design...

all call of duty's have been a joke as far as sound effects...decent imaging (the sound at least comes out of the correct speaker in 5.1)...but the mixing is completely off...pistols will have more bass than a grenade, etc...

I know the sound is off bass because I'm hearing from a video. But I've played BF:BC1 & 2 and I wasn't really feeling the weapons sound affects either from those except 2, the RPK & m24 sniper. I guess I'm just spoiled by the R6: vegas 1&2 and the Arma2 for the pc. Watch these vids from youtube and listen to why I prefer the weapons sounds of ARMA 2.

As long as you realize that v-sync and triple buffering add INPUT DELAY to the game.

IMO v-sync isn't worth it for input heavy games. Tvs and consoles already add up to significant delay, then you factor in ping...

PSN Beta is out! (At least in EU)
- Search alphabetically (as it is closed beta it is not promoted)
- Download, install
- Start
- Modify options! Default were HiFi NON stereo!?
(changed it to Home Cinema, Stereo)
- Enjoy!

During PC alpha I had to lower frame size, below 720p, to get this smooth gameplay - that PC was just above minimum requirements...

Note: I have not got any notification from EA that it is out,
closed beta at this point - I have MoH registered with EA account and you probably need to...

Just played for about 2 hours. The gameplay itself is fantastic, but there is ALOT of screen tearing and some other visual glitches ( but it is a beta so im not to concerned ) Im a little disappointed graphically it honestly doesn't look all that much better than BC2. Some of the textures are laughable (look at the sand bags)

probably get flamed for my honesty but thats cool. Still a great game just not the graphical powerhouse i was expecting.
