"A new job listing by Blizzard entertainment has all but confirmed a console port of its highly anticipated title, Diablo III which was recently delayed to 2012."
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.
Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?
Diablo III: Season 28 brings with it the Altar of Rites, an altar full of unlockable bonuses and potions that will require the gathering of tons of resources. One of things needed is the Staff of Herding, which also unlocks the famous Cow Level known as Whimsyshire. Here's how to craft that staff, for those that either have forgotten, or have never completed it.
I don't see why wouldn't they Port it to consoles, more money in their pockets.
I'll stick to the Pc version though, mods will keep me playing.
I'll believe it when I see it, they have been talking about it for a long time but have never confirmed anything. I'm sure they see a lot of potential to sell weapons and Armour through PSN or their auction house.
I would like a console version as I have not been a PC gamer since Diablo 2 was in its prime.
I'm not a PC Gamer at all. I've always wanted to play a Diablo game, as a solid RPG fan I always felt like I was missing out a little not playing Diablo 2. If Diablo 3 makes it way to the PS3 then I'm going to be happy for the sole reason that I get to experience the game too (:
Cool. I don't have a gaming PC, but I would definitely buy it on PS3 if it does get ported.
I'm perfectly fine with a console version as long as it doesn't push back the release for PC, that's the most important part now, and it looks like that's exactly what's happening. stupid blizz.
