This guy is such a noob. Equip a shield!!! And how long was he using that sword hilt for???
And when he does eventually equip his shield he puts it in the wrong hand!

And then he decides he's too good to read messages...

Well, I was very good at demon's souls. This guy could learn a thing or two from me.

Bits-N-Kibbles4611d ago (Edited 4611d ago )

He never put his shield in his left hand, (where the shield symbol was at equip) DUH! lets just slash away with my left hand. I guess he at least figured out he had other items besides that broken sword. At least play Demon's Souls for more than an hour before posting your pre-release Dark Souls video online... DERP

EDIT: Thanks for posting your video online :)

Not watching any more footage of this game, payed it off yesterday and now I just need to find the time to play this and Skyrim. That is not going to be easy as both these games are huge.

Ha, he's had his youtube account suspended cos Epic have claimed he's infringing their copyright! He must have posted the whole of Gears 3 up there or something, the numbskull.

i understand the authors frustration i'm not the best at parrying in games. not that i can't complete a game that requires it but it is a definite harder thing for me than other kinds of techniques in games. which might be the main reason it's so heavily added in games nowadays. want to make your game challenging without having to do a lot of work? just add a parry boss. (what i mean by parry boss is a boss you have to beat by parrying such that their attacks will kill you otherwise)

Dudeson50d ago (Edited 50d ago )

I always think it's fine as long as such games also have the roll/dodge panic button. But I understand the will to parry, it seems so cinematic in a fight when you pull it off.
