Dealspwn reports: "We love it when successful Xbox Live Indie Games make the jump to other platforms, and it appears that Cute Things Dying Violently will be the latest title to do so. This fantastic puzzler launched as part of the Summer Uprising promotion last month, and after receiving rave reviews, the experience will be headed to the PC via IndieCity. CTDV runs natively on PC, making the decision to port it as obvious as the decision about whether or not to buy it.
This new version will ship with achievements and "new features"... many of which have just hit the Xbox Indie version via a major patch. We've got more details after the break."
If the language and excessive violence don’t bother you, Cute Things Dying Violently may be worth picking up for less than a dollar on mobile devices or for three dollars on PC/Mac/Steam. The level editor is easy enough for a kid to use but due to the gore and drug references it’s probably best for them to stick to Angry Birds.

Cute Things Dying Violently is a game where the player may choose to rescue cute critters. These are the types of critters that one would expect to find wandering around aimlessly in a flower bed, through grassy planes, or even in a lightly wooded forest area. However, as I said, the player has a choice, and that choice may lead the player into causing a certain and painful death. Either intentionally, or even quite possibly accidentally. The player may choose to throw these critters onto spikes, into fire hazards, within a bolt of lightning, cause death due to falling, or the player’s choice of small to large buzzsaws can be utilized as well. I really think the developer watched one too many “Saw” movies.
In this review, Alexx discusses how Cute Things Dying Violently is fun, but seems like something from a Flash game Site - "I found the gameplay pretty enjoyable (though it was somewhat average; like a flash game that would be found on Newgrounds or Kongregate.)"
