Lonesome Road, the fourth DLC pack for Fallout: New Vegas, is now available for Xbox 360 for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Expected for release on the PC and PS3 later today.
Examples of DLCs that are NOT cynical cash-grabs are few and far between. These rare gems can significantly expand upon and improve the base game. GameLuster's Nirav Gandhi highlights the top ten DLCs of all time. Publishers take note - these are DLCs done right.
My favorite DLC list would be:
10) Dragon Age Origins: Awakening
9) Assassin's Creed IV: Freedom Cry
8) Destiny: The Taken King
7) Fallout 4: Far Harbor
6) Fallout New Vegas: Lonesome Road
5) The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard
4) The Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles
3) The Last of Us: Left Behind
2) Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
1) The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine
Honorable) Mass Effect 3: Citadel, The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone, FarCry 3: Blood Dragon, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls
Also) Fallout 76: Wastelanders (Actually brings some sense to the game) (Should be a standalone offline title)
Where’s Big surf island from Burnout Paradise? And all the extras.
GTA4’s dlc was one of the best ever
Undead nightmare was brilliant My 3 favourites off top of my head great value and great content
Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 DLC was great, Horizon: Zero Dawn's Frozen Wilds DLC was good.
Bethesda Softworks has today launched the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition brings the critically acclaimed Fallout: New Vegas and all of its downloadable content (DLC) to a single retail package for the first time.
Chris Avellone has been instrumental in crafting some amazing CRPGs during his career, with his most recent contribution to our role-playing game collections being Fallout: New Vegas and its four story-driven DLC packs. To learn more about the concepts, ideas, and design elements that went into the game and its add-ons, GameBanshee fired off a massive set of post-mortem questions to Chris, and have just finished publishing the second half of the Q&A.
Bought it earlier, now I'm torn between Gears and Fallout :(
timed exclusive (half day) lol
I haven't beat Old World Blues yet but I am enjoying what I've played..I imagine I'll be holding off of this for a bit though with all of the games coming out this season. On the other hand- It does look good...and I do want to finish the story out.
Hopefully all of the DLC packs will be on sale before the holidays.
