GDN - Heros of Neverwinter is an Facebook RPG and the first one to date that has felt like such. It plays like a true RPG mixing both short micro stories/plots and strategic 3D gameplay. Though I may not agree with the direction Wizards of the Coast took pen and paper Dungeons and Dragons with 4th edition, it certainly lends itself well to a game like this and gives me a way to return to the D&D fold.

Atari has announced that a new website for their forthcoming PC game Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter is now live. The new website features screenshots, an E3 teaser trailer, official forums and other news and updates. Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter received its first live screening at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

"At long last, the fourth edition (4e) of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) will be in a computer game, when Atari’s Heroes of Neverwinter Nights comes out at the end of this summer. This turn-based, free-to-play browser game won’t play exactly like the 4e rules, but will come close and what it lacks in exactitude it more than makes up for in ease of play and convenience."
