It's not the fear of it not being noir, but the fear of it not being Max Payne.
Modder ‘alexsavvy’ has released a must-have mod for Max Payne 3 that is a love letter to all fans of the original game.
GF365: "These are our picks for the ten best games to complete 100%. This list includes good games that don't feel like chores to complete."
I got 80% trophy completion on Ragnarok but left a few of the battles. Will come back to it one day.
Where is Horizon Zero Dawn?? where is Ghost of Tsushima?? I just got my Platinum on HZD and is now trying to finish the Frozen Wild expansion. so much care and love went into that game and it really shows. I especially adore the lore and have sunk many hours listening to the logs and reading journals. the back story is great and the gameplay is awesome. can't wait to replay on the hardest difficulty on NG+. next in my list would be to finish GoTsushima
Okay the title of article should be top 10 , 3rd person games to complete 100 percent. Nine 3rd person games and 1 racing game on this list .
If you've been waiting for Max Payne vibes to hit your turntable, you're in luck. Noise rock band HEALTH have a Max Payne 3 vinyl soundtrack update.
One of the best soundtracks in gaming. This band is incredible and I’ve seen them live twice now. Absolutely fantastic band
I mean they also make him shave his hair aswell so when your playing you feel like your playing Bruce Willis in a Die Hard sequel instead of Max Payne.
They should of given this to Remedy and Rockstar should of focused on Agent.
Why change things people love about a game like Max Payne, have Rockstar became so big headed that they're like "Ah who cares, were Rockstar, people will still buy the game"
I know theres people going "It's just one trailer and a few screenshots".......very true but if Rockstar knew this was a major concern to fans they would of tried their hardest to make the trailer feel and look like a Max Payne game despite the bright, sunny setting....but they never. All they did was put Max Payne 2's theme music in the trailer (No MP3 theme song huh Rockstar), which felt really out of place thanks to the setting and hoped for the best. Even the box art looks funny and out of place. Instead of creating a boxart or promotional shots of a doom and gloom setting they created them with the bright, sunny brazil setting in the background. It's like they're not even trying to please fans.
This looks like an amazing game don't get me wrong but it isn't Max Payne. With the games engine the snowy doom and gloom setting of New York would of been amazing, yet they still felt the need to change the setting. They're also doing the "Max is going to go through a rough patch" theme which they already did in MP2...which is why it's called "The Fall of Max Payne".
What about Mona, the graphic novel cutscenes, the story telling gameplay, the music, the setting and Max narrating the game with his amazing insight...for example "There was a blind spot in my head, a bullet-shaped hole where the answers should be. Call it denial. I wanted to dig inside my skull and scrape out the pain"............what will become of all these things which made Max Payne...Max Payne.
Everything Rockstar does is gold, I trust them with Max Payne. Lots of people said Red Dead was going to suck because it wasn't like the first one, and people ended up loving it.
Max Payne 3 reminds me of Kane & Lynch now.
Should be set in NYC with Max looking the same.
Yeah the first game was great. Had much fun playing that on PC. But the second game was somewhat of a disappointment. Not as strong as the first one neither in story or game play.
So I'm sceptical of MP3 too. At least they gave it some more development time to make it as good as they can, but can it live up to the Max Payne name?
