During the past two decades in the evolution of Gaming there have been gazzilions of high quality games that cater to all kinds of gamers which fall under different Genres.
These 10 Games are quite possibly the most critically acclaimed iterations which not only kick started the multi-million selling franchises but also defined and gave birth to their respective genres, which wouldn't have existed without these.
The tiny green slasher villain returns in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and is as frightening as ever.
The way it was handled was so dumb. One shots in melee...your teammates are to ostupid to get away from its attack. So you most often end up alone in a certain fight.
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?

FFVIIs Success in the WEST is one of the sole reasons which made JRpgs Survive even to this day.
This game definitely deserves to stay at the
Top of the Countdown not because it is the
best among the other games. The Japanese
Role playing games hitting Western store
shelves these days is more or less because
of the Overwhelming response and Fandom this game generated when it first hit the
Western shores in 1997.
No Zelda?

MARIO should have taken the top spot.
It's the only reason I became a Gamer as well as spent almost all of the Childhood playing various Mario games.
I love the Mario soundtrack even to this day.
Where's Resident Evil? Where's The Legend Of Zelda? Other than that, good list.
I can't believe God of War is in there instead of Zelda! God of War's genre is based on Zelda. Yeesh. Kids these days.
