So much better. The western box art doesn't capture the essence of what Dark/Demons Souls is about nearly as much as the Japanese one does. Wow.

i dont think its suppose to with a lot of gamers who have never heard of Demon's Souls or Dark Souls, the point of the cover is to get those gamers who are just browsing to stop and look at the game, the Japanese cover to me doesn't show that, but it makes sense to gamers who have played/know about/or have seen gameplay of the game

try to put yourself in the shoes of someone just looking to get a new game, you come across both of those game covers, which would you prefer?

The boxarts look so cool =D

the japanse one is gorgeous, the american one isnt that bad but the euroupean one, WOW so bad, I wouldn't buy the game just from the cover art which is what alot of consumers do.

good thing i know how amazing the game is....man cant wait for it!!!!

waaait a second, cero is for japanese currency....that cover is ugly, the first one says mature, i think that one looks better

i like'em both, but i wont be looking at the box art much because this game isn't going to leave my PS3 much :)

Personally I like the NA box art. The character is walking towards a bunch of knights like he is about to kick some ass.

But that is the point, you rarely do that.

You are more like the Japanese cover...something creeping at you from behind even when you have your sword drawn.

i understand the authors frustration i'm not the best at parrying in games. not that i can't complete a game that requires it but it is a definite harder thing for me than other kinds of techniques in games. which might be the main reason it's so heavily added in games nowadays. want to make your game challenging without having to do a lot of work? just add a parry boss. (what i mean by parry boss is a boss you have to beat by parrying such that their attacks will kill you otherwise)

I always think it's fine as long as such games also have the roll/dodge panic button. But I understand the will to parry, it seems so cinematic in a fight when you pull it off.
