"The original Radiant Silvergun was developed by Treasure in 1998, and released to arcades on SEGA's ST-V, or Titan arcade board. The Titan shared a lot of similarities with SEGA's home console of the time, the Saturn, and made for quick and easy ports between the two. Radiant Silvergun was one of those ports, but sadly the game never made its way out of Japan due to the issues SEGA had at retail with the Saturn. Over the years it became a pretty popular collector's item, and among shoot 'em up fans, or shmup if you prefer, it's sort of a Holy Grail item. Picking up a near mint copy second hand can easily run you upwards of $150 to $200. But now you can play a damn near perfect port on XBLA for $10, so holding out all these years has finally paid off. "
