Rock of Ages Review | CheatCC

CheatCC - It's rare that we see a truly original idea in a video game. Rock of Ages, however, gives the world something it has never seen before: A bizarre hybrid of platforming, racing, and tower defense. While the game doesn't have as much of a fun factor as it could, it's enjoyable to play, and the developers' creativity deserves to be celebrated.

I still don't understand how a game made in 2011 with these graphics can receive a score of 4.1. I am actually stunned that you use the excuse "downloadable/budget title".

Take a look around, for example Hard Reset. That is a downloadable/budet title. Surely, it's on PC but they don't have any excuses to put out.

Please reviewers, tell people that if they slack on graphics and excuse themselves with a "budget title" line, they need to wake up and realize we are in the year of 2011. No matter what, these graphics are outdated even befroe they began working on their project.

I am quite honestly disgusted with the dropping professionalism in game reviews, simply because you can use excuses such as "indie/budget/downloadabl e title" and the reviewers bait is and claim the work is truely remarkable for this and for that excuse.
