Kotaku's Speak-Up: Has anyone seen that Resident Evil Revelations trailer introducing a minor character, Rachel?
Is it me or is Capcom getting lazier with its creation of minor characters in its Resident Evil franchise? I got absolutely no sense of Rachel's character, only discovering that she has a pert ass, a fine pair of norks and an impractical haircut.
I think the fact that her hair covers roughly three quarters of her face speaks volumes about Capcom's intentions for her purpose in the game: namely the presentation of some tittie-action to the audience.
Perhaps Capcom have given up entirely on trying scaring its audience. Perhaps they have finally decided to give up the ghost (if you'll excuse the pun) and drop the "horror" element of their survival horror games entirely.
More guns, more girls, less effort, less atmosphere.
From Xfire: "Steam users and the larger PC gaming community are lashing out at Capcom over a streak of sneaky DRM updates as the Japanese gaming giant continues to flirt with controversy"
Do they want more of their games to be torrented? Seems like it, I don't mind 🤣 Just ripped them a new asshole on Twitter, as I do not care what I say or post on there LOL.
This is classic Capcom. They everything they go on a hot streak and win back some consumer good will they have to turn around and burn it to the ground and have to start the whole process again.
Additional DRM just pushes people to pirate more. These ignorant executives just don't get it. Only the legitimate customer is affected by DRM. 😕
GF365: "The iconic survival horror franchise Resident Evil boasts a great number of popular and memorable characters. Arguably, Leon S. Kennedy is the most popular and recognizable character aside from Jill Valentine. In this article, we'll be counting down every Resident Evil game Leon is featured in, ranked."
Yeah I figured it would be ordered like this. For me Leons best game was his debut. RE2.
GF365: "Is Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City worth playing in 2023? This game originally received less than impressive reviews from critics and gamers alike. You may be wondering what this game is all about."
game was ridiculously dark when i played it bk then. not sure about now.
ike you couldnt see a damn thing ha
I think capcom could of done a better job on the character design.
is it me capcom is just worse as time goes on.
-ridiculous price dlc
-half-a** sequels
-sequels that probably should been dlc
Truth be told, I don't mind walking pairs of tits (figuratively speaking).
Like i said in the other article... Remember when Capcom didn't need to resort to sex appeal to try to interest RE fans? Remember when the RE characters all dressed like proper special forces and police officers? Even though Jill's RE3 outfit was skimpy, it still made sense because it was her casual wear.
But Rachel's outfit...it just looks like pointless sex appeal for the sake of pointless sex appeal. It doesn't even make sense. What sort of special forces officer dresses like THAT? Or has their hair covering their eyes like THAT? It looks just as silly as Excella's "business dress" from RE5. I know the Resident Evil series isn't exactly known for their realism, but at least the special forces looked like special forces.
Who cares. Do breasts offend you? Grow up. Second, If you think this is bad play Dantes Inferno.
Bring back Jill Valentine...
