"It's a great time to be a gamer, isn't it? Over the past few weeks, a stellar group of triple-A titles have been released onto store shelves. We wanted to highlight these games again, to give you yet more incentive to rush down to the game store and pick up your copies."
MW 2019 is five years old at this point and on previous gen hardware, but it is still the best looking Call of Duty game to date.
MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.
That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.
I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.
This should make fans and collectors very happy. PureArts & Ubisoft Announce Assassin’s Creed Hunt for the Nine 1/6 Scale Diorama Assassin's Creed Hunt for the Nine 1/6 Scale Diorama available for pre-order on January 25.
Call Of Duty is back with its yearly instalment, but is Modern Warfare 3 breaking new ground, or just a lazy cash grab? The answer may not surprise you in today's review from JDR.
I KNOW I'll get some disagrees. However, I'm sure most of you will make your own list, so I guess I'll start. I think Uncharted and Mass Effect should at least be on the list. I'd take out Crysis ( I don't have a strong enough PC) and take out SMG (I don't have a Wii, yet). But thats just for me. What do the rest of you guys think?
edit: vvv AMEN to that brother.
are the 2 most wanted games from most gamers out there..
I know uncharted is mine..
I have 4 of the 5...I've spent enough money on games and don't want to make a gaming rig just to play Crysis. I'd replace Ratchet with Uncharted. Ratchet was really good and had amazing graphics, but I like Mario Galaxy's gameplay more and I don't need 2 platformers up there. I don't know about Mass Effect since I haven't played it...Assasin's Creed so far I'll also keep it up there too.
Uncharted and Mass Effect for me. Oh and Ratchet and Clank.....and UT3...and...and...and dam too many games coming out this year that I want.
MASS EFFECT /HALO 3/COD4/BIOSHOCK/AC FOR me and shud all be in the list eplacing those games but this list is old
