We might be in the age of remasters, but it doesn't look like the Dead Island 2 devs believe remaking the original game is the right move for the series.
but remakes require far less effort for these companies and they can still charge $70 for them!
Feel like everyone makes fun of Skyrim re-releasing like 18 times yet applaud these remasters elsewhere. Would much prefer NEW games
Making sequels really is the way to go. Otherwise we'll be stuck playing only the first entry, forever!!!
Josiah Motley of KnowTechie writes: "I love video game trailers. While I don’t believe they are an integral part of a game’s success (especially these days), there’s something about a well-produced trailer that really just reminds me why I like video games."
It’s the music. It’s perfect. I agree with this for sure, it is well choreographed….unfortunately the game didn’t live up to the trailer.
Have you ever seen any of the MGS 3 or MGS 4 trailers? Those blow this out of the water for me.
Kevin F. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "Many of the best Xbox 360 games are playable on the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. Some even with some enhanced visuals and performance. Unfortunately, not every game from the Xbox 360 library has received this glorious feat of being able to be played on more modern Microsoft consoles."
The Spider-man games will never happen. The xbox 360 Marvel Ultimate Alliance games have a better chance of happening than Spider-man titles but won't happen. The Xbox One Ultimate Alliance games delisted years ago
Yeah... you can totally forget about those entries that got delisted because of licensing issues. Those are not happening.
Hmmm...I don't agree with the girl that the devs were right in removing the zombie children from the game. Of course it would be disturbing to shoot zombie children...but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be any kids in the game at all. A zombie apocalypse is MEANT to be disturbing. Shooting anyone (women, men, children, pets, etc) is a horrible thing, but it's what needs to be done in order to survive. It ruins any sense of realism if you're fighting your way through hoardes of zombies, yet none of them are under the age of 18.
So yeah, it does seem like the devs missed a big opportunity by removing the kids from the game. Especially when a kid was such a major part of the first trailer.
I really want to watch this but her lisping doing my head in.
The guy didn't watch the DI debut trailer because it has a little girl in it? That's silly.
As for children-zombies being cut, ya rightfully so.
@Pozzle, only having adult-zombie ruins the realism?
I doubt anyone (nor you) will be playing this game and be thinking "geez where are the babies to kill? so unrealistic"
Zombie children would've been freaking awesome. Like the chapel chapter in Dead Space 2. Or even the crawling exploding babies from the nursery section? those worked well too!
Their class could be faster and quicker with attacks etc... it's totally workable if you ask me.
Like I've already seen in the game are walkers, runners, the dudes in the straight jackets remind me of tanks from L4D. So having child zombies makes a certain class of its own right?
I can picture it now.....DLC -.-
Also I don't want to totally spoil the game for myself so anyone that has watched it through and through does it seem worth the $60? I mean a lot of games are coming out in the next couple months and I'm in the process of getting a job coming out of school so I really want to get the best of the best this year..
