Apple will never replace the Vita and 3DS completely until they get good exlusive games, and, more importantly, actual buttons on their devices. (or an official control pad peripheral). Now if they had some gamepad peripheral that hooked into the dock port on the bottom of your iPhone/iPad/iTouch, then they'd have something, cause even I'd be tempted to buy into that. But, again, the games have to get better too. The quality and longevity of the games have to become on par with the dedicated game handhelds' games.

I don't think apple even realize what they did to the gaming industry. I was in shock and disbelief because I did not think these touchpads ipod ipad iphone android phones couldn't be on par/ league with mobile gaming or even affect it, since it has its own ground, but after finding out that nintendo said apple was cutting into profits I was kind of shocked. Nintendo just need to get back to it hardcore gaming and stop playing around with noob gaming(gyro/motion) Let the noobs eat up gyro gaming

Well yeah Nintendo would lose some money. Mobile phones are eating away at casual customers which are Nintendo's current life source.
