Get the feeling that this game is gonna be awesome! The trailers look very promising and I'm more excited about getting this on my PS3 than any other game tbh.

Picked this game up today from a local hole in the wall game shop out in Long Beach! They even had Resistance 3 there, but ive kinda had my eye on this game for awhile so R3 will have to wait. Game is awesome so far, it feels a bit like bioshock and condemned in terms of the fighting and has elements of far cry 2 when it comes to the vast open tropic world and secondary objectives.

First of all, let me start off by saying the island itself is very nice to look at. From the palm trees blowing in the wind to the sound of the ocean waves and seagulls is just awesome. Very nice scenery to suck you right into feeling like you are really stranded on that island! This game is NOT left for dead.

It is MUCH better and is not a shooter. You find luggage laying around with money in it, energy drinks for health, booze to get you drunk, all kinds of melee weapons that are upgradeable, xp points to level yourself up, different techniques to spend your points on, cash etc. There are a lot of different game styles in one. RPG elements, fps and open world gameplay,

It is a pretty graphic and brutal game, graphics are sweet too. Its just a simply awesome game! Its probably one of the best zombie games ive ever played. Get it, you will not regret it. Its a blast just exploring the lush and beautiful looking island. I highly recommend!!!

I have high hopes for this game. Hopefully it'll play as good as it looks. No reviews and it's out in a week (UK).

This is called good PR. And an opportunity to hire veterans over scrubs.

phoenixwing249d ago

Not to call them scrubs but yeah some veteran devs are more welcome than others with less experience

Flakegriffin249d ago (Edited 249d ago )

You can hire veterans all day long but it’s the talent Microsoft lacks.

Zeref249d ago (Edited 249d ago )

It was mostly outside of gaming. Most of the game studios weren't affected besides 343i and Coalition from what I recall

Charlieboy333249d ago (Edited 249d ago )

But of course. Just look at the latest Saint's Row....that is exactly the level of quality and writing that Xbox strives for these days.

Aloymetal249d ago

Nope, like Redfall, Craig infinite

There u go. This is way more acceptable than buying up studios. Buy individual talent until you strengthen your already owned studios. 👏🏽

Dead Island 2 devs believe a Dead Island remake would be a “mistake”

We might be in the age of remasters, but it doesn't look like the Dead Island 2 devs believe remaking the original game is the right move for the series.

but remakes require far less effort for these companies and they can still charge $70 for them!

Feel like everyone makes fun of Skyrim re-releasing like 18 times yet applaud these remasters elsewhere. Would much prefer NEW games

CrimsonWing69434d ago

Making sequels really is the way to go. Otherwise we'll be stuck playing only the first entry, forever!!!
