PS Blog - The Drop: Week of August 29th 2011 New Releases

Rey Gutierrez writes: Two of gaming’s franchised titans return for this week’s new releases, when Madden NFL 12 and the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection arrive on PS3. Both sport large rosters, arenas and the occasional broken limb.

Bodycount, Shock Troopers, The Baconing and a Apocalypseageddon await you in this week’s The Drop. Did Sub-zero just spike Scorpion’s torso in the endzone?

Man, the PS Blog just keeps getting better and better. Its is so refreshing compared to the XBLive 'feature videos' where they talk to us like we're children (IGN Strategize ftw though).

Anyway, definitely grabbing Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection.

Big chunk of change but still just a drop in the bucket for EA.

iceman062861d ago

True, but this wasn't about the money. This was Jim Brown sending a message. EA is still involved in similar class action lawsuits and this could, if not set precedent, definitely provide legitimacy to the other claims. Judges have a tendency to look a prior rulings while making their own. EA might just be getting what it deserves for repeatedly ignoring those athletes while reaping in billions.
