Since when and why are people now starting to combine the two? All that's being shown is PC stuff.

The PS3 version of BF3 AS seen so far looks incredible and it's not even fully completed as of yet.
It easily stands toe to toe with Uncharted 3 and Gears 3...and what makes BF3 more impressive than those games is the fact even on consoles, BF3 will have almost fully destructible environmental features with quite a bit real time lighting/shadow and effects...not all real time like the PC version, but some...
...something Uncharted 3 and Gears 3 cannot claim.

Now imagine if Dice went the route of Naughty Dog and Epic and just about 99% of developers for console games this generation and made BF3 for all formats fully linear, smaller maps and NO real time effects and destruction?
Can you imagine how BF3 would look saving all that processing resources and bandwidth by eliminating those features?
DICE gets the NOD because of how the game looks and what the engine is rendering.
The PC version of BF3 alone obliterates most games this generation.

we all know uncharted 3 will be the graphic king again. bf3 hmmmm yes is awsome on pc but im not throwing 900$ on a new pc just to play 1 60$ game,getn it for ps3.it has to go between uncharted 3 or gears 3 for best graphics

I dont think he is saying graphics dont count its that he is playing on concoles and U3 will win cause its has great graphics. Bf3 will have way better graphics but thats for pc. And would want to spend all the money for graphical value. They count but looking at how much money you have to spend to have a great looking game look 20x better just isnt really worth it. Im in the same boat as him i dint want to buy a great pc for just one game plus i dont know much about steam or how the service works and need more info before i can see a gaming pc as a valued option

I think it's a pretty good list as all those games are good looking, however I wouldn't have put AC Revelations on a top 5 list.

Skyrim and Rage are amazing looking considering the scope of the lands and all that is going on within them. BF3 is obviouse but we haven't seen much console gameplay and this list seems to be highly in favor to console since all the gameplay other than BF3 is console gameplay.

I would remove BF3 as it's not a fair comparison. Anything on PC is going to destroy consoles. We all know this and have come to terms with this.

I would put my list as follows.

1. Rage
2. Forza 4
3. Gears 3
4. Uncharted
5. Skyrim

All 5 of these games deserve #1 IMO. The differences are very minimal at best and since they are not all within the same genre it's hard to make comparisons.

Seriously...this site is hilarious. If someone posts an article that people disagree with then "it's done for hits." If someone posts an article on a subject that has been discussed before, everyone loses it.

1.) ALL articles are made hits. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. If they weren't made for hits they wouldn't be on a website and they certainly wouldn't be uploaded/added here to get attention.

2.) If we banned every repeated opinion piece then N4G would have a very boring, empty main page.

If they do these type of "graphic" articles they should have it in categories.
Meaning:

Best graphics on PC
Best Graphics on consoles

Because based on these "opinion" articles about this subject, they are lumping the two together and quite frankly it's inaccurate because all the listed games on the PC are better looking than all the consoles games.
Even Batman on the PC will look better than any console game.
It's not a fair comparison.

1. U3(will rival most PC games visually as far as game play goes, if U2 is anything to go by, U3 will have no equal.)

3. BF3
4. Rage
5. Batman: AC

the pc verison of battlefied 3 makes uncharted 3 and gears 3 look worse than ps2 games lol oh I forgot metro 2033, crysis 1(even without mods), crysis warhead, crysis 2(even without directx 11 patch or mods or high res texture pack), witcher 2, shogun 2 and GTA 4 with mods already make your console games look last worse than last generation :/

its no surprise really,the ps3 just like 360 isn't even a powerful as a dual gpu pc from 2005! aside from that he 512 mb ram that they both use has been outdated since 2004. A 2006 high end pc is 5-7 times more powerful than ps3/360. just like 360 ps3 ain't sh*t and never was anything special a mordern day hgh end pc is 30-35 times more powerful than ps3 lol even handled(ps vita) can match current consoles in power and you somehow thing ps3 can match pc ? lol or ignorance is mind blowing

that your cell cannot match a core 2 duo did you know that ? maybe if you where a programmer/ computer engineer you'd be able to figure out why the cell has so many weaknesses but your too ignorant to be able to point them out

even bulletstorm on pc and majority of multiplats that have made it to pc in the last few years look better than anything on consoles including uncharted 3.

crysis 1 at medium with 8xAA and 16x AF 1080p looks better than uncharted 3 and everything else on consoles so what does that tell you ? you are out of your mind
