Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.

A pretty weak article with very little info...
Legend of Zelda: I was in 4th grade at the time, parents were getting ready to throw a Christmas party for their co-workers and needed to keep me busy. Dad took me to Toys "R" Us and said I could pick out one NES game. I picked the one with the shiny gold cartridge. I was enthralled and didn't stop until I beat the game:)
FFVII: Was truly the first game since Legend of Zelda that hooked me that hard. A much longer slog but I remeber an entire week of my life being locked away with that game, I couldn't get enough. Downloaded it off PSN last year and enjoyed it just as much. My favorite story in a video game ever, period.
Super Mario: Got it with the Duck Hunt and Gyromite in the NES bundle. Untold hours spent with that one as well.
Halo: At the time a lot of fun, especially with friends but Perfect Dark/Golden Eye on N64 had a much bigger impact on me and had countless all night sessions with friends playing those games.
Farmville, seriously?
i'd include Goldeneye, 4-player splitscreen MP, talk about fun
i would say FF in general because 7 didn't bring anything new by itself....but the series in general shows progress through the years from snes games to current get
but this article is a joke considering they think farmville had any influence....its a facebook game its like cell phone games they dont count for anything except stupidity
