I was going to get BF3 but i don't think its going to turn out as good as its PC counterpart. I think i'll get MW3 and wait to buy BF3 until i can build a PC that can handle it.

I understand that people like COD but guys, it's the same game ever since COD4. I'm so tired of that same exact gameplay and same old MP levels. It's the same, same same same same same same same same everything the same thing.

No one should be buying this game to show Activision that it's time to innovate. They won't do that until people show them that it's time. They will milk COD for as long as possible and that will lead COD to be the next Guitar Hero.

Some people like more of the same. Look at the initial backlash when SSX fans thought the developers were going to go with something different (SSX Deadly Desecent). They wanted to make sure they were getting the same style SSX that they loved.

You can keep the essence or the soul of a game yet make something fresh. But if it's constantly EXACTLY the same than I can't imagine it not becoming boring. The ONLY reason I play COD BO is the zombie mode. Last night me and my cousin were trying to play some Combat Training and man it was boring.

I am not buying MW3. I am buying Battlefield 3 which is worth the money and the only FPS I need.

That's the crux of it though. You and a lot of other people find COD boring but you're probably in the minority. The vast majority still have fun with it and will still pick up MW3. That is what matters to these developers and publishers because if the game was not selling like it was then they wouldn't keep putting it out.

You wouldn't have to tell people to stop buying it because if they weren't enjoying it then they wouldn't buy it or they would stop playing it. I'm sure they are looking at their server traffic and can see how many people are still playing.

I'm getting both but, I admit, I am looking forward to BF3 more just because it is a shot in the vein of something new(ish). But MW3 is going to be good for just quick, dirty, arcade-style fun. Game on, gamer.

No, no it's not the same. It's worse, way worse. The difference between CoD4 and MW2 is night and day.

I wonder if people still pay for call of duty if they took away the perks. Will you be buying it then?
And just cos you buy bf3 as ell doesnt make it all right the point that ARES84 is making is a simple one. as long as people keep buying it and buy the dlc that gets bumped in price every game.
activision continue to get greedy then others will follow suit.

Lol at the 3rd tier of the Navigator perk. Scrambler is the worst perk, it gives away your exact position if you're playing with good people. And Bandolier AND Juggernaut? WHAT? Stupid. I hope these ones aren't real, either.
