Gonna be a wanderer all over again :)

I like playing stealth types, so I'll probably play a Thief (Assassin) like in Demons Souls.

Though I admit, I gave myself more vitality than "normal" for a stealth build to deal with invaders and those giant trolls in case I mis-timed my rolls.

I wonder if they'll have an easy-mode Royal-type class to ease you into the game a bit this time around.

This and Skyrim I will definitely enjoy! :D

This game is gonna be boss. I bought the Asian version of Demons Souls since I didn't know it was coming to North America, but could never put enough focus into it as I had other games to play.

But I swear I'll dedicate more time into Dark Souls. I believe this game (Souls Series) deserves it.

I just hope they rework the multiplayer a bit. I'd love to just invite some friends to my game real fast rather than using all these special items.

Looks like the visuals have been improved too.

I hope the "cheats" which made some boss battles in DS easy won't be present in this (Even though it allowed me to progress when stuck - I'd rather beat the game properly instead of cheating).

Can't wait but due to crowed releases I won't be able to get this day 1.

Pffffffffft, THis game makes all other releases to crowded cuz i just shoved skyrim, uncharted, gears to the side for this game and no regrets

may beat this twice before i even touch those......bwahahahhaha, once as a male, once as a female (must have all armor types!)

The prevalence of parrying: Why is it so popular?

i understand the authors frustration i'm not the best at parrying in games. not that i can't complete a game that requires it but it is a definite harder thing for me than other kinds of techniques in games. which might be the main reason it's so heavily added in games nowadays. want to make your game challenging without having to do a lot of work? just add a parry boss. (what i mean by parry boss is a boss you have to beat by parrying such that their attacks will kill you otherwise)

I always think it's fine as long as such games also have the roll/dodge panic button. But I understand the will to parry, it seems so cinematic in a fight when you pull it off.
