Allistair Pinsof writes, "After posting my glowing Dishonored preview last week, I received some comments saying my post was overflowing with hyperbole – they must not be familiar with the track record of Arkane Studios’ Harvey Smith and Raphael “Raf” Colantonio.

I'm extremely excited about Dishonored. The world looks fantastic and the concept of being an assassin with supernatural powers is just spot on for me!

Plus, you can stop time, strap a bomb to a rat, possess the rat and then use it as a remote control bomb. Awesome.

There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.

Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.

The sequel changed some of the mechanics from the first game but it was still a very polished and enjoyable experience. You should definitely give it a shot sometime. The game's currently on sale on Steam

I really did like the first and played it back to back as soon as I finished the first play through.
