Pre-Ordering Battlefield 3 on Origin Gets You a Free Game

For your first Origins order you get 25% off and now if that first order is Battlefield 3 than you ALSO get a free game? That's great, especially considering the free games you can get are Mass Effect 2, Medal of Honor or Dead Space 2! I'm impressed EA.

Having said that, Steam is still the best.

I used the 25% off promo from GunClub, and in the process, got a free game too.

$45 for two games... not bad, not bad at all. =)

EDIT: When you first join the GunClub, you get a 25% off discount code as a reward for joining.
Unfortunately, if you're already in the GunClub, then you don't get anything... kinda sucks.
I believe EA also gives you a 25% off code for your birthday.

Speaking of Origin. If I search Battlefield 3 in the downloadable origin client, It doesn't appear. I know its on the homepage too but thats weird.

Good Strategy to make the people do the hard part of using a new service, which is registration and filling your information.
so the next time they want to buy a PC game they can consider Origin cuz they already signed up.

I'm getting the retail copy but a friend is getting it through Origin. They will allow you to download the game a day or two before the official launch. As soon as the launch starts you will immediately be able to play the game. Kinda cool (better than standing in line at midnight, lol... like me. Pros and Cons to both.

No need to pre-order we all know MW3 will sell 10 tiems more and have the most original and epic intro that will beat every first person shooter game made to date. I just hope that m. night shyamalan will direct a movie for the series which is sure to get best picture, best original score, best sound, best screenplay and best director. Now if you don't mind I need to go and kneel before my MW3 shrine and pray.
