The Best Bioshock Infinite Cosplay You're Likely to See, Ever

GR - "Cosplayer Ormeli basically *is* the real-life version of Bioshock Infinite's Elizabeth. Unfortunately her galleryonly features the single amazing picture of her Elizabeth accomplishment, but she's also a pretty bang-on Ellie Langford from Dead Space 2, among other characters. Irrational should really get on the ball and hire her for events, although it's not like they need the publicity."

Mother of God she's beautiful =O

MidnytRain4647d ago (Edited 4647d ago )

That's one thing I noticed in the gameplay trailers; her eyes are so mesmerizing. It's like she's looking through your soul. o_O

news4geeks4647d ago

it's because her eyes are so far apart it gives the illusion that she has a squint.

Perjoss4647d ago (Edited 4647d ago )

(major spoiler coming up if you have not finished Red Dead Redemption)

If Irrational Games know what they are doing, Elizabeth dies at the Bioshock Infinite ending. Too much Hollywood happy endings in games. R* got it right with Red Dead killing off John, was one of the best endings to a game in years, nothing wrong with main characters being killed off, sparks some much needed emotion in games, FF7 anyone?

f7897904647d ago

Nobody on the good side does get annoying. It takes away from the suspense.

Ducky4647d ago

MGS3 did it best.

It seems like the bad guys died, and then the twist happens, and there's nothing you could do.

CrescentFang4647d ago

As long as it's not a shaggy dog story lol

jaosobno4647d ago (Edited 4647d ago )

@Perjoss

What are you, an emotional masochist? I despise non-happy endings. We live in crappy world with so much misery, I don't want same crap in my video games.

f7897904647d ago

It doesn't have to be the end, I just don't want the possibility of someone good dying to be 0. Happy endings are good. Guaranteed happy story throughout is boring.

vickers5004647d ago

@jaosobno

Not everything is or should be sunshine and puppies. Sometimes bad things happen, and a sad ending can be just as great as a happy one, sometimes moreso.

I love games that make me feel something, whether it's joy or sadness, or anger (anger from the story, not the quality of the game, lol).

Red Dead Redemption wouldn't have felt right if John Marston had lived. I hate movies/games that take the safe/happy way out whenever it's obvious that it shouldn't have ended that way, but they put it in there to please the audiences who can't handle it when a story doesn't end the way want it to.

yog-sothot4647d ago

I want an ending that fits the game

A well thought ending is what I want, it's not enough to kill your character to make something memorable or deep

Bimkoblerutso4647d ago

That's what I want too. No one seems to care about context nowadays. It's always "I want it black," or "I want it white." Blah blah blah.

I'm with you. I just want an ending that is organic to the context through which the game has led us.

darksied4647d ago

I agree for the most part. Emotional ending last with you longer, and make a deeper impact. Also it shows the dev's have the balls to kill off their main character, instead of stinging a series along forever.

Future games: next Halo: Master Chief should die; next Duke Nukem (god forbid): Duke dies (probably get a lot of disagrees for that, but for real, he's a relic, let him die in peace :)

Jack_DangerousIy4646d ago

Mass Effect.(I'm agreeing with you)

Especially when the deaths are your fault. It makes it so much more emotional when I think "could I have done something?".

I LOVE that kind of stuff. Not enough games do this.

jrbeerman114646d ago

SPOILERS
rockstar kills a good guy every game. Red Dead is nothing new other than it being main character Bondi followed up with same thing.

main dying has been done before, not as much as happy ending but enough not to be original. I wont name all to minimize spoilers but you get my point.

While I do hate the overly happy endings (i call them adam sandler endings) you can still be original with a happy end.

Top 10 Rarest Xbox 360 Games That Are Worth a Fortune

Twinfinite: “War may never change, but the prices of rare games do!”

"And lastly, famous Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling helped to create the action-RPG’s setting. What’s really fascinating, though, is that the game was partially financed by taxpayers from Rhode Island (which allegedly lost the state millions of dollars). Yikes!"

1. Now infamous Schilling
2. No allegedly, it did. And they couldn't pay it back.
3. What really lost the money wasn't the SP release but the MMO they were working on. This was supposed to be an introduction into the MMO world.

Soy284d ago

I hate counting limited editions for these lists. I mean, they're made to be rare and expensive. It's far more interesting to hear about the NCAAs (even if most people know that one already) and the El Chavos than some massive hit that came with a $200 statue at retail.

gamerz283d ago

Me too. Here's the best I can do:

El Chavo Kart $90.14
NCAA Football 14 $87.72
Spiderman: Edge of Time $75.94
Spiderman Web of Shadows $75.09
Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions $67.76

Christopher283d ago

Wow, El Chavo Kart is not at all what I expected by the name. 100% looks like a Sackboy Kart game.

Soy282d ago

It's so odd that so many Spider-Man games are seemingly given lower print runs, even if they're not the best games.

jznrpg283d ago (Edited 283d ago )

Most Xbox games don’t hold as much value compared to other systems. Kameo, Blue Dragon, Last Remnant , and a handful or 2 of other games that I kept.

sadraiden283d ago

Fallout 3 and Bioshock Infinite are the rarest games of all time.

8 Best Games Set In A Multiverse

One of the biggest TV and movie tropes in the last decade has been the multiverse, the idea of exploring multiple dimensions to uncover alternate versions of existing ideas. From both a business and creative perspective, it makes sense why established franchises are shaking things up in this way.

However, there aren't many video games latching on to this trend, as rendering multiple worlds in real-time is a difficult feat and the medium is relatively young in comparison to its contemporaries, making crossover opportunities more difficult. Still, there are a few great titles that manage enough to overcome these challenges, and here are some of the best examples.

While I love someone mentioning Planescape, not really multiverse. Planes and dimensions, yes. But, they are typically their own locations and are very rarely tied to another 'verse' let alone another plane. The only things that are directly tied are the ethereal and material planes. Otherwise, they are dimensions created of their own design and goals by the creator/owner and not comprised of 'their own version of another dimension'.
