DSOGaming writes: "Ian Howe, President of 505 Games US, concluded:
“Sniper Elite V2 will be the most brutally realistic military sharpshooter out there on the market. Our WW2 Berlin is utterly realistic in terms of locations, weapons, vehicles, uniforms, music and other important details. We want the player to really feel like they are really there at an important moment in time where WW2 started to drift into the beginning of the Cold War. We want them to get into the mindset where one bullet really does count.”"
Jason was woefully unprepared for the slower-paced nature of Sniper Elite V2 — originally from the last-gen of consoles and now on practically everything (He played on his Switch). There’s no running and gunning, but there are certainly cool set pieces.
From Rebellion: "We’ve been delighted to see your response to our upcoming release of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. As an independent developer we value your support and try to be as transparent as we can.
For this reason we want to tell you about a small update to the boxed edition of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered in Europe and Australasia. The boxed edition in these territories will now be releasing three days later, on May 17th."
Carlos writes "2017 was a great year for the Xbox Backwards Compatibility program with many of our favourite 360 games made playable on Xbox One. That said, there are still a ton of highly requested games yet to arrive in the program and with 2018 set to see even more added, it makes sense that the first of the years new additions are now being given the treatment. This past week has seen six new games made backwards compatible, but which ones are worth returning to once more?"
"Six new games arrive via Backwards Compatibility"
Does anyone not see the funny side to this statement? I do... lol
I love the Sniper elite series & V2 is a great game & as I still have my 360 copy I'm good to go. Great news & it's free for me too.
.
The WW2 scenario is bit long in the tooth. Why not just create a new story and update the weapons with a fictional war and some great new weapons no one has ever seen before.
Sniper Elite was one of my favorite games last gen and the bullet time the best feature by far but with so many WW2 games having been done, it would of been nice to get caught up in the new story with a different ending.
Regardless...a true sniping game is ALWAYS on my radar. :)
Ok that looked fucking painful at the end!
Murder simulator!
O M G
It's back, brotherrr!!! :'D
Finally my wishes become true!!
EDIT:
time for some Vassili Zaitsev moments :)
A question for those who played the first one. Is this game any good? Thank you for the replies.
