I always get confused by this, but is 72k good sales numbers for a game? I keep seeing games fail at selling 2.5 million and that they need to be on multiple platforms but is an additional 72k adding much?

This is a bit redundant :/ since when do you get a new game and not play it? I mean not even boot it up just to check it out!? For those fleeting few games that remain forever unplanned i guess this is pretty cool. But in practical terms who buys a steam game and never plays it at all?
Even with gifts - most of the time you need to play it because the people who gift it in all likelihood are familiar with steam and have you as a friend, therefore you need to look like you at least tried out their gift.
Like I said though, it's still a nice gesture and idea on behalf of steam.
I have over 150 games on Steam...I haven't played about 90% of them. XD Damn bundles and deals. Even thought I bought all these because I WANTED them, I'll get to them eventually. But this is a nice feature to have.
