Fighting Games and Brawlers that need a Remake

GamerFitNation's Gregory Laporte suggests some games that should be remade in this modern console age. "When I was younger and before I had enough income to purchase games, I would borrow or rent games from my local Blockbuster or Major Video. I wasn't able to play all the great games that were offered in my early years but looking back at it, I thought that it would be great if these games could be remade for the PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii."

Remake those games, and include the original as a bonus in the game. That would be nice, but in this age of DLC, I doubt that will happen.

OMg the 1st game you put i have been trying to figure out the name of it for the past year or so thank you i played it at wal mart but i could never remember the name of it.

If they would put this on the psn store i would snatch it up day one.

Definitely Def Jam should make a return as long as it plays just like FFNY ..... Def Jam FFNY was one of the best fighters I have ever played in my life , I would love to see Battletoads , Double Dragon and Streets of Rage makes a return .

I wanna see that TMNT fighting game from the SNES days, as well as that Power Rangers fighting game from the Sega Genesis...

I also want another Final Fight, Streets of Rage, Killer Instinct, and Spawn

Enhergize: A horrible fighting game that people only remember because it had FF7 characters in it. This doesn't change the fact that it was terrible.

Tobal No 1 might not have been that great, but if you're going to have Square redo an old fighting game, that would be the one to go for.

The whole 'beat em up' genre has languished in near extinction for years now, I'm not sure why. It seems like the only type of game that got left behind when we jumped from the SNES/Genesis days to the PS1 days.

A lot of people in my high school at the time voted for Power Stone more than Ehriegz; I never got to play either game till after I graduated though in 2000

And Tobal #1 was good... a 3D fighter that had moves lists short enough to learn all your moves... GENIUS!!!

I wanted Bushido Blade on the PSN Store ever since Sony started releasing PSOne Classics. A remake would be nice as well.
