The game is set within a truly dystopian future that draws heavily upon western
esoteric principles ranging from the Jewish Kabbalah through to Esoteric Gnosticism,
giving a hearty wave to Dante’s Divine Comedy and injecting a hefty dose of
cybernetic organisms, intelligent machines, and decaying cities.

The premise of the game is that you are a member of an organisation called Secreta Secretorum which has been in an unending war with a dark corrupting power known as the Metastreumonic Force, the organisation has just gained enough stability to launch an attack against the rival Federation and this is where you come in.

Daily reminder that 'TheGamer' is a corporate-generated, anti-gamer, anti-consumer, clickbait web site. They are mostly A.I. generated articles that villainize gamers. The recommendations I get are usually pretty good, but then again I have pretty large library of games on Steam and hundreds of them in my wish list, along with lots of curators I follow for it to build recommendations off of. On occasion it will throw me a random FIFA game or something I've never bought or shown interest in, but mostly its decent IMO.
