Phase Runner Review | WTG

When Microsoft first announced they had given independent developers the opportunity to develop and publish their own games through XNA Game Studios it was a huge step in the right direction. Never before, on console, have these small and unknown companies been given the opportunity to eventually compete with big guys or simply get their name out there. With each indie title released, we see a new precedent in what can happen when you give creative minds the tools necessary to do what they love, and the program is young so we’re only just getting started. On July 27th, Phase Runner was released on the Xbox 360. This independent title puts your avatar in a world that changes terrain collecting orbs and dodging enemies in order to obtain a high score.
