Feed The Gamer Review: Bastion (XBLA)

Bastion sees you take on the role of “The Kid”, and with no prelude at all, throws you straight into things. The Kid awakes on a bed on a floating island – as you move around walkways will be built around you as the level appears from outside the fog-of-war. It is revealed quickly that you are a survivor of the apocalyptic “Calamity” that has destroyed your city. In times of crisis, your people are instructed to retreat to titular Bastion, and so, broadly, your quest begins.
