Last year around this time ParaNerds did a “What Were They Thinking” on consoles... And by the comments you can see that a lot of people did not agree with them. In fact they got emails telling them to die and telling them they were getting paid by Microsoft to “troll” on Sony…even though all three consoles were mentioned.
This year ParaNerds.com takes a look at some games and game feature that made you stop and think “what were they thinking?” and give the consoles a break. These are games that just made either absolutely no sense or was there for obvious money-grabbing reasons. Either they took a game with a good idea and ruined it, they took something and completely ruined it or they kept going too long with it. This is the Top Ten What Were They Thinking? Game Edition.
It’s been nearly a decade since the release of the last Guitar Hero game. Is time running out for Guitar Hero, or are we closer than ever to the long-awaited reunion tour on the PS5 and Xbox Series X? As it turns out, we might soon see the return of a rock giant — at least, if modern gaming trends are to be trusted.
I just don’t see this being nearly as popular as it was back in the day. These kids are way too attached to phones and tablets to care about plastic guitars and drums. Would be cool if it did return but I just don’t see hype for it like the good old days of gaming.
I would gladly buy a guitar hero collection or just guitar hero 2 again on series X or ps5.
Most likely answer is both platforms because why leave out 60-70 million platform gamers
