Electronic Arts Snubbing PlayStation Vita, Cautious With Nintendo 3DS? (Modojo)

Chris Buffa (Modojo): It's rare to see video game giant Electronic Arts playing it safe.

Yesterday, the publisher held its annual holiday showcase in New York City, inviting press from various outlets to catch a peak of its upcoming titles, a list that includes NHL 12, Burnout Crash and Battlefield 3.

that would be a shame. I hope for a portable version of mass effect and dragon age.

DarkCharizard_4665d ago

EA has made strong ties with Nintendo this year, I fully expect them to support 3DS. Also, Fifa12 3DS is the best handheld game EA has ever made... they said so themselves!

Does the author of that article even bother researching before writing or is it a mindspill?

MasterCornholio4665d ago

It probably will be the best version as well due to the more powerful hardware that the Vita contains. Plus the grass will look greener because of the Vitas OLED screen.

This site Modojo had a lot of Vita bashing articles recently so i really dont trust them. I believe they are pro Nintendo.

1. Playstation Vita: Potentially doomed

2.Nintendo Mounting Grand Offensive To Beat Sony's PlayStation Vita

3. Playstation Vita: It does 2 much at once.

Looking Back to 2011 and the Forza Baiting Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed

Paul writes: "So, all in all, Shift 2: Unleashed from way back in 2011 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC was a good game, but not quite as good as the marketing hype may have had you believe. Autolog and racing with friends was fun, the upgrading of the cars and the gradual unlocking of the new series made for an addictive play, and the game looked the part as well. But it failed to reach the heights many predicted."

Interesting interview....

CouldHaveYelledUiiW3682d ago

I agree,
SQ: "Excellent"
LkTWS: "Yes"

Thanks for writing something with substance and not just opinion and speculation.

wonderfulmonkeyman3682d ago

Deus Ex was great, but ME3 was just done terribly. The should have done the collection of the series for wii u instead of the third game on its own.

CurrentDigital3682d ago

This is exactly what I've been telling Jes, but he's just a QA tester so it doesn't really matter what I tell him. :P

ZeekQuattro3682d ago

Excellent work. This is a breath of fresh air especially compared to the usual doom and gloom on here. Keep it up.

Of all time? It hasn't really been out long enough for a list "of all time" I don't believe, lol.

wastedcells4178d ago

Has not even been a year yet lol. Persona 4 drops this week... Vita game of the year!

Godchild10204178d ago

The list should be top ten Vita titles of 2012. And that shouldn't come until late December, earlier January.

chadboban4178d ago

Isn't it a little soon to do this, I mean the Vita still has a good 6 years (possibly more) to expand it's library. Doing a top ten list of "current" best Vita games is okay, but doing one about the best Vita games of "All Time" when it hasn't even been out for a year seems a little premature.

I regret clicking on this in the first place.

timothylittle4178d ago (Edited 4178d ago )

^ And I regret reading useless comments like this

remanutd554178d ago

my top list would be:
1. Little Big Planet
2. ModNation Racers Road Trip
3. Uncharted Golden Abyss
4. Ragnarok Odyssey
5. Sound Shapes
6. Wipeout 2048
7. Resistance Burning Skies

timothylittle4178d ago

I completely disagree. How can you not find a spot for Rayman Origins or Gravity Rush on your "list"?

oORafzOo4178d ago

I'm really enjoying call of duty black ops: declassified, for me it's the best vita game released until now

remanutd554178d ago

at timothylittle yes i forgot about Gravity Rush but i dont have Rayman Origins

hkgamer4178d ago

maybe because he hasnt played it yet???

teedogg804178d ago

AC3 Liberation should be up there too.

r214178d ago

Rayman Origins, number one? Ok :I
Personally, I'd give that spot to Gravity Rush :D

dafegamer4178d ago
