Activision confirms Goldeneye: Reloaded for consoles

Despite speculation and retailers letting it slip, Activision has lifted the embargo on Goldeneye: Reloaded which is coming to consoles.

Anyway, about time tho they bring this awesome game to 360 + PS3, will be an awesome game to play online, maybe even more fun then CoD series XD

PS3 version is 1080P, 360 version is 720P, Wii version is 480P. HD FTW!!!!
On a side note this should have released this summer instead of the crowded fall.

Not interested. Sorry no buy! Are you people that desperate for Nostalgia? Activision capitalizes on another title that they never made(RARE) and releases it because nerds don't want to move on. They are not going to use the CoD engine and even if they did, so what? You'd be playing CoD with Bond characters in an old movie. If it's the old GoldenEye w/ HD upgrade, that's even worse. That game was horrible if you actually went back to play it. It was amazing for it's time, but we have evolved since then. That's like bringing back CONTRA. The name speaks volumes, but some things need to be left right where they are. I would love to see an updated Syphon Filter or Kill.Switch, but it will never happen.

I asked how desperate they were for nostalgia? I never said DONT BUY THIS DUMB REMAKE! Just think as a consumer. Just like other threads with the same topic have stated...THIS IS A CASH IN. Activision wasn't even part of the franchise until recently. It was Rare and then EA did all the other Bond games. When Activision bought the franchise, the title was tainted and they are trying to reboot the franchise to make some quick cash on their investment. Instead of making a quality title w/ the Bond name, they try and sell reboots

I want this so much! I almost bought a pile of shit wii last year just to play this game. Now that that has been said, I hope they go back after this to the 3rd person stealth model used in 007 Bloodstone. That was a real fucking treat of a game, and I would love to play more games like it.

in fact the game filled me with rage. there are so many things wrong with it.

get all excited all you want, but you will find out for yourself.

its not the game you remember, nor is it the game you wish it to be. its some bastard in-between. and its not good.

there are some genuinely good bits, but the bad bits out weigh them by far. dont get excited.

Basically, imagine CoD, except where you have NO army on your side to back you up. Only one other agent, and some twat bugging you on your phone all the time. Thats the new goldeneye. You are basically one one man army.

The gameplay is basically reduced to running a gauntlet of bullets. In original goldeneye, your enemy could be described as a security force. In this game, you fight armies of soldiers. Its basically CoD: goldeneye mod pack.

Dont get too excited, no big deal of a game.
