Darksiders II won't be in stores until 2012, but that hasn't stopped Vigil's studio marketing manager Jay Fitzloff from discussing with VideoGamer.com possible directions for the third game in the franchise.
"We're trying to flesh out the story of Darksiders II, we were saying we want to establish it so - fingers crossed, Darksiders III - we don't have to explain a lot of stuff," said Fitzloff. "We have this world set up and it makes sense to the player, and he knows the setting."

Darksiders 1 is a complete game but it’s obvious with Darksiders 2 they ran out of budget after the Ice world and the game just becomes a poorly paced mess.
